Villa Madinina

The kids had a great time in the pool and at the beach, which isn’t too far away. The house is beautiful, the rooms are clean and tidied every day, and the staff are very friendly. Chef William and the rest of the team made us delicious meals. We enjoyed our stay.

Jonathan really knows his way around the kitchen, so make sure to try his food. The owners were friendly and helpful, and paying was easy. We spent a few nights in a beautiful, affordable villa with five great bedrooms, especially the one upstairs. There’s also a big TV and a comfortable sofa on the first floor. We wondered how we’d manage without AC, but the ventilation was so good we felt every breeze, and the ceiling fans kept us blissfully cool. The bathrooms are spacious and have heated showers. Wildlife paintings, wooden furniture, and pillars gave the place a real African feel. Outside, the garden was lush and immaculate, with a distinctive pool that has a lounge bench in it, plus rustic sunbeds and matching furniture. We had a great time.

The meals were all a treat, thanks to a fantastic chef, and the pool was a welcome escape from the Diani heat. Andrew greeted us warmly and made sure we had what we needed. Villa Madinina felt both luxurious and beautifully appointed. We had a great stay and would happily recommend it.

The beach with its lovely white sand is an easy walk away, and the shopping center is only a few minutes by car. We found the villa comfortable and well equipped, with clean rooms and bathrooms, and ceiling fans that worked well in the warm weather. The pool and garden were especially nice for relaxing in the cool evening, and the WIFI reached those areas too. The staff gave us a lovely welcome. The owners were friendly and got back to us quickly whenever we needed something. The price was very affordable and paying was convenient. I’d recommend this villa to anyone considering Kenya’s south coast.
