Villa Mandhari- Diani Beach

We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the excellent service, and the huge, well-kept pool. Breakfast is generous, whether you go for the English or Swahili option, and the other meals are delicious too, so eating there throughout your stay is worth it. The staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful. It’s easy to get to the villas by the tuk tuks, or three wheelers, that are common in the area. There’s a conference room for meetings, and the internet works well. My one gripe is that they serve coffee sachets instead of properly brewed coffee. Otherwise, it’s a great place and good value.

Our holiday seemed much too short because we felt so at home. The hosts were lovely, the atmosphere was lovely, and the caretakers took great care of us. The beds are really soft. The cleaners do a great job and pay attention to little things, even cleaning spots you might think could easily be missed. I recommend it 100%.

The calm, spacious surroundings made a perfect setting for my work with a talented Polish photographer. We had a wonderful time at Villa Mandhari. The staff were warm and helpful, and made us feel at home. The whole place has great energy and felt inspiring. I’d highly recommend it to travelers and creatives.

My sister and I both came away with itchy bumps after my most recent stay. We think they may have been insect bites and suspect the bedding, though we can’t be sure. The location is convenient, and the property has a lovely design and layout, but it hasn’t seemed well maintained during my visits. The pool was dirty, and several things in the kitchen and house looked rusty or worn. I’ve also had problems with different staff members on every visit. The interactions have repeatedly felt rude or unprofessional, which left me feeling management was poor. The design and location are great, but these recurring problems made the experience disappointing. I hope things improve.
