The staff were helpful and cooperative, and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The rooms need improvement, though, and could use renovation.

The hotel seems better suited to conferences and larger groups, with its several conference rooms. For a holiday, I found it less suitable. As a local traveller who supports domestic tourism, I was quite disappointed with the service and didn’t feel I got value for my money. The food wasn’t the best, and the swimming pool is small with no baby pool.

We waited three hours for a refund after the hotel had a problem with our Booking, and they couldn’t help us. Manager James was no help either. While we handled the situation, he watched TV and videos on his phone. The customer service was poor, and I wouldn’t recommend this lodge because I don’t trust the management team.

There’s a spot where you can sit and enjoy a great view of the whole lake, and I enjoyed my stay. It feels like a hidden gem in a very peaceful setting. The staff are so hospitable, and I’d recommend the place and definitely go back. One thing, though: they need to tighten the bolts on the bench. I nearly fell off.

The beds were really comfortable, and the rooms have elegant finishes. The staff were friendly and engaging, too. Even though the place was deserted, it had everything I needed, and I loved the quiet. It gave me some peaceful time to work from my room. I’d visit again. #lovedit.
