The food was delicious, and I got to try authentic western Kenya cuisine. The lush garden, inviting pool, and sweet chirping birds made the peaceful atmosphere even better. My room was spotless, beautifully arranged, and comfortable, with a cosy bed and thoughtful amenities. From the airport transfer to the warm welcome, the professional staff made the whole stay wonderful. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back, and I highly recommend Kusi hotel for comfort, quality service, and a memorable stay.

I stayed at Kusi Hotel from 28th to 30th Nov 2025 and had a lovely, peaceful stay away from town. I could book a room on the day I travelled, and the hotel transfer made me feel safe and well cared for as a solo traveller arriving late at night. The service was excellent, and I’d highly recommend it.

The staff were very efficient, and the food was well prepared and delicious. It’s a clean hotel in a quiet setting, with big enough beds, and it feels like home. I’ll stay here whenever I visit kakamega, and the whole family can enjoy it too.

The hotel made our wedding anniversary stay feel special, helping me plan lovely surprises for my wife. The room decorations, candle-lit dinner with wine, and anniversary cake were all done perfectly. We also enjoyed the excellent food and the cheerful, helpful, attentive staff. Kusi Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, a comfortable distance from town and the Amalemba area. I’ll definitely visit again.

Great value if you’re on a budget. I got a room for around 1700 KES, breakfast included, with a TV, hot water, mosquito net, and spacious balcony. The food is great and portions are generous. A 1/4 KG beef costs 350 KES, chicken is 450 KES, and Ugali is 100. There’s just enough parking too.
