I came with my family for my great grandmother's burial, and we stayed overnight at hippo safaris resort. It's a good option for a night or a few nights while exploring Naivasha, and the nightly price is fair for a short stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast service was poor, though. The waiter was very slow and didn't seem willing to serve us, as if he was being forced. The breakfast was basic and sparse: brown or white bread with jam and blue band, one sausage, a fried egg, mahambri, and tea options with hot water, tea, hot milk, and coffee sachets. The place was also hard to find, and people can get confused and lost looking for it. Aside from those issues, it's a good place to stay with friends while visiting different spots in Naivasha.

The rooms are neat and really comfortable, and you get lovely views because it's right by the lake. The food was super tasty, especially the fresh fish, and they make the best chapattis in Kenya. Sammy was the best waiter. This place is amazing and great value for money, definitely worth a visit!

We only came for the boat rides, and had a fun, interesting trip around Lake Naivasha and out to Cresent Island. We were given life jackets, so it felt safe, and the crew explained the lake and its surroundings. They dropped us at Cresent Island for the walking safari and picked us up afterward. Thanks for the great service.

The rooms are clean and well maintained, and you can hear hippos in the morning. They can arrange a boat ride, so do visit Crescent island. The food is yummy, and the location is excellent.
