The misty mountain mornings made Karimbu Resort feel almost like a dream. Our group of 11 adults enjoyed the calm, welcoming setting, and the staff were polite, helpful, and quick to assist. It was a lovely break from everyday life, and we’d definitely like to return.

We found Kambua resort ideal for a stopover, since it’s not far from Mombasa road. Our room was simple and clean, with everything we needed. The food was great, and the service was just as good. The staff were lovely, especially Faith at reception, who was very accommodating.

The food was good, and the rooms would be fine if the shower weren’t giving guests electric shocks. I was electrocuted while using it. I was also charged twice for dinner after a card reader problem. In both situations, the staff were rude and basically said it was my problem to sort out. Honestly, bizarre. I have very mixed feelings about this place.

For a budget stay, this is a nice option, with a peaceful setting and great service. The conference facility is very nice, and the tavern now has a surprisingly broad selection of drinks. I’d strongly recommend stopping in when you’re in Kibwezi or passing through.

I really enjoyed talking one on one with the staff and management. The place has a great atmosphere, wonderful staff, tasty food, plenty of parking, and good internet. I’d highly recommend it.
