The beach is pristine, and the accommodation in these luxurious apartments in Kinondo is good. Management should make sure every advertised facility is working, since clients are entitled to use them. The road is rough and feels desolate, so take care, especially after dark.

There are only six villas, which makes this a good choice for a quiet beach holiday. The food is great, though a little expensive when ordering à la carte. The beach is so-so, with lots of coral, but at low tide you can walk out to the refreshing ocean on some man-made piers.

The staff are kind, friendly and always smiling, and it felt very safe. Having a personal chef and housekeeping available 24/7 was a big part of the stay, and the food was wonderful. Villa Kalista is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with villas that are a pleasure to look at. From ours, the pool and beach views were magnificent. We were very happy there and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing vacation.

The butler concept was a nice touch, and the beach was beautiful and uncrowded. These are top-range luxury apartments, possibly the best in Diani, on a quiet side of the area. I met the owner, Faiza, who personally made me the best chicken wrap I’ve had. She’s warm and hands-on, and makes sure guests are comfortable and get what they want. Highly recommended.

The food was mouthwatering, and the presentation was incredible. Staff were always smiling and ready to help, while Manager Cliff was switched on and hands-on. The owner is a super host. Villa Kalista feels cosy, peaceful and homely, like a little paradise.
