It's family friendly and in a convenient spot near town, Impala Sanctuary, Hippo beach and other places. The rooms are spacious, but they were never fully ready for the number of times we stayed. Service needs to improve, apart from Catherine, the lady we met once. She's an angel.

The staff were friendly and the rooms spacious. My double room was fairly priced by Kisumu standards, with breakfast included. I had to leave early, so I asked if I could have the breakfast in the evening instead, and the staff kindly gave me a plate of food wrapped in foil. It's a nice hotel near the lake, but the name is misleading. It's in a maze of residential streets, not near a beach, and there's no beach view.

This was my third stay this year and fourth in the last three years, and the place has kept its high standard. The rooms are very clean, the showers work and get hot, and there's secure parking and a good breakfast. Rates are affordable too. It's a hidden gem near Dunga beach, just 10 minutes from Kisumu CBD. There's also a bar on site, but it's chilled, not one of those loud pubs.

There's plenty of parking, and the rooms are spacious with clean, good quality bedding. I enjoyed the music from the live bands nearby. It's a great place near the lake, though the heat and mosquitoes can be an issue.
