The location makes getting to the CBD and other areas easy, which I really like. Prices are affordable and the services are decent. A lovely place for quick trips, or for tourists who enjoy neighborhoods with all sorts of people around.

Conference facilities, food, and a bed are all available here, and the prices are pretty reasonable. It’s a few kilometers from the CBD, close to Kisumu Airport, town, and other amenities. Handy if you’re in town for a few days or just passing through.

Finding Prinias Hotel took us a while, but once there, I was struck by the well-decorated interior and high standards. I came to meet my partner in the wine business, who also owns the hotel and the adjacent building. Breakfast was African cuisine with mixed tea, as many Kenyans like it, and the real sweet potatoes brought back memories of my grandmother. The manager was calm and composed, a gentle giant. There was a conference going on, and the people there looked happy. I recommend it for any occasion.
