Africana Yard

We spent two weeks at Afrikana Yard with our team, and the place was peaceful, with lovely natural surroundings and really friendly staff. The owners were welcoming and open, too. Our rooms were spacious enough, cleaned daily, and had very comfortable beds. And the pizza was the best. A nice spot to rest with family or friends.

The bar that recently opened looks out over the forest, and it’s a nice place to relax or get some work done. There’s plenty of birdlife in the woods behind the cottages, which is lovely if you’re into nature. It’s a calm escape from the city rush, and I’d recommend it for that.

My driver failed to show up for the airport trip, but Carol responded quickly and drove me herself. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and attentive to the details. Afrikana is a very pleasant place to stay in Kitale, and I recommend it.

The food was a highlight, with plenty of choices and dishes that were both tasty and nicely presented. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with modern amenities, and I slept really well. What stood out throughout my stay was the personal, warm service from the accommodating team. The owners and staff were professional and clearly focused on making guests happy. Afrikana Yard in Kitale is a great hospitality experience, and I’d gladly recommend it.
