Amazing views, a modern but cozy place, and a convenient location. Grand Homestay offers great service and has lots of nearby activities to choose from. The spacious feel works well for families, friends, or couples, and I’d highly recommend it for 100% value for your money. I’d definitely return for my next vacation.

We couldn’t sleep properly because there wasn’t enough protection from mosquitoes, and the running hot water was far too hot to bathe in. There was only one charging point for devices, too. Even after I clearly asked for dinner to be ready and reminded them several times, we waited 2-2.5 hours for something as basic as chicken and rice. We’d had a very long flight with multiple stopovers, and the food was awful. This was the worst experience of my life, the lowest rating I’d give any bed and breakfast I’ve stayed in. The place sucks. Absolutely don’t stay here.

Anthony, the landlord, was really helpful. He handled phone calls we couldn’t make with our UK cards, and picked us up from the train station when we arrived for our second stay. We might consider staying again, though the place could use a better mosquito net, and removing the useless TV would make more room for language learning. The description should also be updated so guests don’t expect a hotel with a swimming pool. The price was good, but the room had more mosquitoes than the Amazon River and the TV had no channels. It’s a room in a flat where the family actually lives, rather than a hotel or hostel as the advert might suggest.

The host was so friendly, helpful, and available 24/7 for anything we needed. He also arranged an airport shuttle at reasonable prices, better than Uber. I really enjoyed the spacious rooms, breakfast, and TV box. It was so beautiful.
