If you're just passing through Machakos and need somewhere to sleep for the night, this is a reasonable option. I wouldn't call it an ideal hotel, though. The service is okay but leaves a lot to be desired, and the TVs in the rooms don't work, though that part is just my personal preference.

The rooms feel decades behind the times, and they smell old. Nothing about them feels modern.

It was noisy, and the beds had bedbugs. I'd look for somewhere else.

The lift was the only thing that worked. The hotel is right by the stage, so it's noisy and you won't sleep past 5am. The rooms are badly neglected, with sewage leaking into the bathrooms and dirty floors. Corner rooms have no hot shower, and the showers are covered in green algae. Don't waste your money.

The hot water isn't reliable. I had to take two cold showers, and it may keep cutting out unless you tell the front desk. Still, the beds are very warm and the price is quite affordable. There's a bar where you can get a drink after curfew hours, and the hotel has most of what you need, though there's no shopping complex. A pretty decent place overall.
