The alcohol-free setting at Starling Bird Resort made for a peaceful, family-friendly stay. It felt right for kids, and I could relax knowing the atmosphere suited families. We also spotted giraffes and Thompson's gazelles near the road on the way there, so the trip felt like a mini game drive before we’d even checked in. I’m pretty sure the wildlife has made Starling Bird a five-star stop on its route! The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, a lovely place to rest after a day of spotting wildlife, and the swimming pool became our favourite afternoon hangout. Veronica Musembi looked after the resort wonderfully. We’ve also used her transportation services through Bamm Tours from time to time, and she brings the same care and professionalism there. Her support and dedication really shine through. She’s curating wonderful travel experiences. My stay at Starling Bird Resort was an absolute delight. Great rooms, an amazing pool, no hangovers, and a free safari on the side. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend Starling Bird Resort. Thank you.

The open spaces gave us fresh air, and the ambience was good. The venue is nice and away from the city's hustle and bustle. The food was delicious, well prepared, and served in generous portions, more than we expected. The staff were always on hand and very helpful with our needs. We’re grateful you hosted the HNI power team of BNI pearl chapter. We look forward to coming back. I’d recommend this place to people who enjoy good ambience and nice food.

We drove to Starling Bird Resort around 3 o’clock last Thursday, after sad news broke in Kenya that Baaba and leader was no more. There was no work, so my friends and I decided to find somewhere to have fun. The natural road had that dusty smell and brought back nice memories of the countryside. The staff were very friendly and hospitable, and prepared a sumptuous lunch for us. We spent a lovely afternoon there. As the sun set, giraffes walked past, something we hadn’t seen in a long time. The rooms were very clean and the ambience felt like heaven on earth. After losing our Baaba and having a moody week, it was just what we needed to cool off. In the evening it was hard to go back home to the cemented places. Nature was holding us back and calling us. We wished we’d stayed the night, and we’ll come back for a big party. The workers are friendly, courteous, and attentive. We highly recommend the place for a nice getaway, somewhere to unwind and enjoy quiet time. It’s worth visiting and enjoying. The drive is scenic, and the security personnel was very kind. The washrooms by the pool could use some work, though. We drove here for lunch and an afternoon chill, but the food and service were horrible. After patiently waiting through the agreed 40-minute prep time, I ordered half a kilo of mbuzi choma (ribs) and got a plate that looked and tasted like not-so-fresh wet fry, with a residue that tasted like pork. When I asked why the menu had changed, they said they’d decided on my behalf because they didn’t have what I ordered. The spinach and ugali were cold too. Extremely disgusting food. There was no cutlery. Sub-par.

A sweet, quiet resort with lovely savannah views from the balconies of the comfy rooms. It’s a nice break from the city bustle. They don’t serve alcohol.
