Royal Tulia Resort

There was no water in the swimming pool, and the place is run down.

The food was authentic, made with fresh ingredients, and there was plenty of it. We got to try different dishes each day. Royal Tulia is also connected with Solidarieta Kenya, the association Claudio and his wife founded to help children in need through school and other projects. It lets you enjoy a lovely holiday while also supporting that work. I stayed at Royal Tulia for two weeks in August, and it felt like home. The large park around the property is peaceful, with fantastic sunsets, and the pool is spacious and open to everyone at any time. My room was clean, roomy, and decorated in a true African style. Claudio, the owner, was attentive to everyone’s needs and made us feel looked after and at home. Everything was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back, and I recommend staying here.

Claudio’s warmth puts guests at ease, and the stories he shares about life in Africa stay with you long after you’re back in Italy. The owners provide excellent, classic Italian food and service with great care. Set in a centuries-old park, it’s a wonderful property. I’m always keen to return and have often done so.
