The Village has more modest rooms than the Mwembe Resort side, which it's part of. Even so, it's a nice place for a self-catering holiday, especially with kids. There are three pools and a very good restaurant inside the resort. It's some distance from the ocean, and the beaches are even farther away.

I'm looking forward to being there after Easter. It'll be my first holiday on the Kenyan coast, sponsored by the African collection.
