Regency Mount Kenya Hotel

Our spacious room looked out over Ngare Ndare forest and Mt Kenya, and the quiet scenery made it easy to relax. I especially liked meditating in the morning to the sound of birds. The fresh food was made to order, with excellent Kenyan and Indian dishes. My son had a great time with the playground, trampoline, slides, and swimming pool. Regency Mt Kenya Hotel is peaceful and family-friendly, and we had a wonderful stay. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the Mt Kenya region.

We were welcomed with a refreshing drink, and lunch was ready when we arrived. The staff stayed friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout. Our room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with reliable hot water. From the balcony, the forest and Mt. Kenya looked breathtaking. It’s a very quiet, peaceful place for getting away from city noise. There’s no WiFi because of the remote forest location, which made for a digital detox. The food was excellent. Nights get chilly, but you can have a bonfire, and they provide hot water bottles. There’s a pool, children’s play area, conference room, family room, and prayer room. It suits families, retreats, or groups. Accommodation can be full board, half board, or bed only, and the prices are pocket-friendly. If you go, Ngare Ndare Forest is a must. Swimming in the blue-water river was bliss, and the canopy walk felt magical. One of the best experiences I’ve had. Kudos to the whole team, well done, and keep growing 🌻
