We came back with our family of 11 after a perfect few days over Christmas in 2024. Our 2025 visit was still terrific in many ways, and the location is fantastic, but it wasn't the same. We had five rooms, and three had constant AC problems that made the stay uncomfortable. The buffet food was great in 2024, a 5/5, but the next year it was good with very few choices, which was disappointing. One man at reception, the one wearing spectacles, was terrible from the moment we arrived. The other staff were great, and Lilian was especially wonderful. She really tried to keep us comfortable and well looked after. It's a great hotel with a few things to fix.

The place has a great location and a large facility, with a lot of potential, but it's very outdated and poorly maintained. We had the same food for all four days. We were told there's new management, so hopefully things improve.

The staff were welcoming and really nice, and I enjoyed the buffet. The breakfast buns tasted like the dough had gone bad, though. I also liked the reception area, it had a really good ambience. It's not a bad place, but the bathrooms badly need renovation.

We booked through Stayforlong and complained about the hotel but never got a reply. Our experience at Cocoa Luxury Resort was a total disappointment. The property was run down, nothing like what we saw online, and we couldn't believe we were meant to spend 14 nights there. We started looking for somewhere else, but we'd paid a lot for the holiday and travelled a long way, so we couldn't afford another hotel. We noticed that most people booking Cocoa Resort were locals, with very few foreigners.

Thomas helped turn things around for my baby and me. Our move from the awful room 727 to the heavenly 737 made a huge difference, and I left happy. On the first day, though, our room was full of mosquitoes and the food was uncooked. I'm grateful everyone helped revive the experience, especially since this was my 9-month-old's first vacation.
