The quiet setting meant I could count on a good night's sleep, and getting around from Point A to B was easy thanks to the central location. Ganjoni Wananchi Hotel is a good place to stay in Mombasa, especially for car or vehicle hunting and other business. The amenities aren’t overpriced, and the hotel has a restaurant where food is made to order while you wait. Breakfast is free and amazing, too. It felt like home.

My room was roomy, clean, and had a comfortable bed; the TV worked just fine. The WiFi kept dropping in my room, though apparently other rooms didn't have that problem. Breakfast was basic but tasty, with food that was consistently good. There wasn't much choice, but nobody seemed bothered by that. Service was thoughtful and prompt. For a friendly budget, it's a decent place to stay, and I'd come back.
