I booked a 2-bedroom apartment at Indiana Apartment for 5 nights after the receptionist sent photos of a particular unit, which I confirmed based on. On arrival, a different receptionist asked which apartment had been shown in those photos. The first place I was taken to had an air conditioner that didn’t work. I was moved to another unit, where the shower leaked, the fridge was broken, and there were bed bugs on both the sofa and bed. The sheets were dirty, and that apartment’s air conditioner didn’t work either. This is unacceptable after confirming the booking using the photos provided. I need it sorted out immediately.

The sea view was excellent, and the staff were warm and supportive. I’d highly recommend it.

We sat enjoying our juice and meal in the evening, with an impeccable ocean view. The rooms were very spacious, and the food was delicious, well prepared and served generously. Absolutely awesome.

After more than five years without a holiday because of cancer and a blood clot, I was nervous about taking three flights to Mombasa, Kenya. I’m glad I found the willpower to make the trip. The room cleaners, maintenance staff, plumber, electrician and nearby fruit ladies all helped make my long-awaited holiday a marvellous and pleasurable one at Indiana Beach Apartment. Asante sana. Regards.

The atmosphere is good, and the staff and breakfast are good too. The menu is quite limited, like what you might find in a European nursing home. The new restaurant offers worse value than the old one. Breakfast has moved to the beach, and a good Italian pizzeria was evicted from its spot. The little barbecue bars have also disappeared, though I’m glad the televisions are gone. After ten years, not much else seems to have changed. It still feels like a nursing home for us old people.
