The balcony and bedroom had amazing views, and the three-room apartment was clean and comfortable with really good WiFi. It's close to the beach, though Mombasa has nicer beaches. Reception service was friendly. Grace at the restaurant was especially kind and looked after us every day. Salma at the gate was helpful and friendly too, and I think the cleaner was called Adam.

I had to haul my luggage up to the 7th floor when I visited because the lift wasn't working. The receptionists weren't good at customer care, and the breakfast was awful.

The pool was a highlight for me: clean, roomy, and great for doing laps. Lido Apartments in Mombasa also has a fantastic beachfront location close to everything. The apartment was comfortable and well maintained, with what my friends and I needed for an easy stay. We had a great time and will definitely return.

A great Airbnb hotel. I noticed the mosque next door was being renovated, though, and hope the call to prayer won't be loud enough to cause a nuisance.

The mosque beside the resort has opened, and its calls to prayer are incredibly loud. It's impossible to sleep past 5 a.m.
