Lotus Hotel.

The room was average, nothing especially good or bad. Soap was provided, though not bamboo, which wasn't a big deal. The AC was the real plus: it actually got cold, unlike the glorified fans I've had in some hotels. WiFi was garbage in my room, but worked okay after I walked about five rooms down. Continental breakfast was included, as shown in my photo. I'm only about 80% sure, but I think I'm missing a $100 bill. I saw it every day for 10 days while at the hotel, then couldn't find it that night. Maybe I misplaced it, though I'd say that's only a 20% chance; otherwise someone may have taken it. That's why I rated the place 3 stars instead of 4, along with the average room and bad WiFi. I should have hidden my money better than in a zipped small bag on the desk. The front desk guy was super nice and pointed me toward a currency exchange. This wasn't the hotel's doing, but I got 5200 KES for $45 USD, when the real conversion should be 5900 KES. The guy had tried to scam me by offering 4000 KES, or $31. The exchange itself may cost around 650 KES, about $5 USD, plus extra if you want. If I find my money, I'll raise the rating to 4 stars.
