We booked in November on Booking.com at a fixed price, but before we arrived the owner said she wouldn't provide the home at that rate. She called Booking.com stupid and said they never update prices online, claiming the price shown when we booked was wrong. Then she raised it by 30%, from 1000 USD to 1300 USD, saying it was high season close to Christmas. I consider that a contract violation. When I showed her the confirmed booking, she said she didn't care what it said. We didn't stay. She showed us other homes that weren't listed on Booking.com for a lot of money, and we didn't take any of them. This place is a scam, a cheat, and I won't book here again. Let it be a lesson to everyone. Someone wanted to scam or steal more money than we'd already agreed to pay. Booking.com isn't responsible for this, but I reported it to them.

The apartment was nice, but filthy, even though the complex itself is very nice. I booked for February 20th to February 23rd and the agent tried to raise the price on me. We spoke with the owner, who seemed reasonable and said he'd send someone to clean it. This is the second time this has happened to me. Between that and my experiences with greedy agents, I won't come to Mombasa again. The agent was rude and made some crazy comments to the person I was with.

A magical place, with very spacious rooms, a pool, and a gym. The staff are courteous, and it's super close to the beach and mall too. An Uber can pick you up right inside the premises.

It's a lovely, relaxing space and just as beautiful as it looks in the presentation. We spent a week in the penthouse, and it was an amazing place. Our host wasn't as hospitable as we'd expected, though. When we needed help, like with the electricity being off in parts of the house, it felt like power was being rationed. He was also hard to reach by phone when we ran out of gas or needed drinking water from the dispenser.
