Really enjoyed the food and ambience. Our meal took a long time, though maybe that was because we hadn’t ordered ahead. Loved it, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Tucked away off Ridgeways Rd, it feels like a peaceful little hideaway. The staff are welcoming, and so are the food and service.

The setting was nice, but the seat covers for my event were supposed to be gold and black to match my theme. Instead, I found maroon ones, which clashed badly with my gold and black balloons. The backup generator also needs to work better, since it took a long time after the outage for things to get back to normal.

The lush outdoor spaces, especially the garden and swimming pool, were a highlight of our stay at Tobriana. We also had great food, and the rooms were nice. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. I loved our time there and will be back.

I usually like leaving positive reviews, but it’s hard to find much to praise here beyond the nice gardens. We barely slept. A nearby bar played loud music all night, with dogs barking too. The room was hot, had no fan or AC, and came with a heavy quilt but no top sheet. With no air moving, there were lots of mosquitoes, and the netting couldn’t fully close around the bed, so it was useless. The hotel and rooms were dark, and it wasn’t very clean. With so many hotels in Nairobi, this isn’t one I’d recommend.
