Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands

Breakfast was a real standout, with a local feel that made us feel we were in Kenya rather than somewhere generic. We also spent time in the lounge, which had plenty of food and drink. The hotel is well located in central Nairobi, and our executive suite was very spacious, comfortable, and had a nice city view. Staff checked in throughout the stay to make sure we were comfortable, and the gym and pool were among the best we've found at Hyatt hotels. It's a five-star business hotel and we had a great stay. More local character in the lobby and rooms, perhaps through local food, would make the experience feel more connected to its location.

They serve really good coffee, too! This is a true luxury hotel in a convenient part of Westlands, Nairobi, especially suited to business trips, with good meeting facilities and easy access to commercial areas. The staff are consistently attentive, warm, and professional. It feels like a premium stay that fits the Hyatt Regency brand.

The team made us feel at home throughout, from the cheerful, helpful security staff to the people who organized a lovely birthday surprise. Ms. Racheal at the Front Office and her team went above and beyond, and Mr. Perera, the General Manager, personally checked on us. The artwork around the hotel celebrates local talent, the lounge has a strong African heritage feel, and the property was spotless. The pool, gym, and parking areas were spacious and well kept. Breakfast was more like a lavish brunch, with lots of healthy, tasty choices, and the Food & Beverage team made each moment special. We felt a real sense of calm as soon as the professional security team opened the gates. The check-in setup is clever: leave bags on the ground floor, go up to the 8th floor to check in, and find your luggage waiting in the room. Hyatt Regency felt like a feeling more than just a hotel, and we felt at home. Every moment became a lovely memory, and we can't wait to return.

The staff at Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands were friendly and very helpful, and the service was top notch. The location is good, though getting around Nairobi still means relying on rideshares. Some of the interior and exterior construction looks sloppy, which isn't what I'd expect from a Hyatt Regency.
