Kamake Gardens sits in a leafy, peaceful neighborhood, with landscaped gardens and quiet paths around the homes. The open green spaces make it a pleasant place to relax, and the modern amenities add convenience. The staff are wonderful, and Kamake Gardens is well placed in Upper Hill, close to offices and other amenities. The furnished, serviced apartments come in one or two bedrooms, with power backup, a gym, sauna, pool, laundry, Wi-Fi, tight security, and parking. I'd recommend it for short or longer stays, especially for families with kids. Compared with other apartment buildings, there's no Airbnb here, and the clients are of a certain standard. It's also one of the few places where they refund your deposit as soon as you leave.

[Review updated] I planned to stay at Kamake for two years, but ended up there for five. It was a very comfortable stay, and the team responded quickly whenever I had a request. Being Japanese, I especially appreciated having a bathtub, which is rare in Nairobi properties. My workplace was nearby, as was a well-equipped sports facility where I played rugby and tennis. Carrefour Mega was just a 7-8 minute drive for shopping. I also enjoyed unwinding in the sauna or pool now and then. Staff were consistently professional, quick to handle requests, and provided personal service. Having an on-site restaurant was handy on days I didn't feel like cooking in my fitted kitchen. It's no surprise Kamake recently won the 2020 award for Best Furnished and Serviced Apartments. If you need quality accommodation in Nairobi, Kamake Gardens is a good option.
