The location worked really well, and the room was roomy, clean, comfortable, and had a pleasant balcony. Staff were warm and helpful while giving us space. I’m usually put off by bright colors and modern decor, so I arrived unsure about the hotel. It won me over more than I expected. The pool is on the small side, but it’s warm and has good views. Breakfast had a nice range of options. Dinner was only okay, with slow service and pretty ordinary flavor. A comfortable stay with a relaxed feel, even though the design isn’t normally my thing.

The restaurant was a highlight for me, with tasty food and plenty of variety, and it was nice to have that option without going out. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with the comforts needed to settle in. Kingfisher Nest is easy to reach and sits in a pleasant area. For the price, I thought the comfort and service were unusually good value. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

We were impressed every time we came to pick up or drop off our guest. The staff were kind and welcoming, and security felt good from the gate to the reception entrance. It’s a calm place to stay in Nairobi. Our guest had no complaints, and we’d recommend it.

The hotel was pretty average, but the room service food really surprised us. We got in around midnight after landing late and didn’t want to head back out. They said the kitchen runs 24/7, though the choices were just pizza and burgers. We ordered chicken tikka masala pizza and a chicken and paneer burger, and both were so good. Could’ve been the hunger and tiredness talking, but it was worth it.

The rooftop bar and pool have lovely views, so I’d suggest it for a sundowner. Getting in and out of the parking lot is stressful because the layout is badly configured. The lifts feel shaky too, so be careful. I’d take the stairs.
