There’s a gorgeous pool, lots of greenery, and plenty of parking. It’s a peaceful spot for meetings, private functions, or events, and even a nice place to sit and think. The restaurant is off Thika Road, with the turnoff at Survey. It’s so quiet I’m not even sure they advertise it, lol. The food is really good and the portions are big.

The peaceful setting is what makes Hotel La Mada stand out. It feels like a forest retreat, with thick greenery and the occasional monkeys around, which made it calming and refreshing for me. The food and service were decent and satisfactory, though nothing extraordinary. If you want somewhere quiet to unwind and be around nature, it does that well. A real hidden gem for nature lovers looking to get away from the city buzz.

We had so much fun when I went for Galentines, and the food was 10/10. Just be aware that outside food isn’t allowed. If you bring drinks or a birthday cake, there’s a fee.

The hotels and camps are nice, but the reception and reservation staff are really rude. They talk to other people while they’re on a call, and sometimes hang up before the call is finished.
