The gardens at Masai Lodge are beautiful, with vervet monkeys, bush dassies, warthogs, and even the occasional baboon. Staff mostly chased the baboons off. Common areas feel open and comfortable, with lovely views over Nairobi National Park, and the lodge sits in a lovely corner of the park. Everyone working there was welcoming and happy to help. Wilson was especially friendly. The buffet food was fresh and good quality, with locally inspired dishes alongside international flavors. I especially liked the salads. Some rooms could use a little maintenance, such as attention to light fittings or shower heads. Wifi worked well for most things, though it was a bit slow for video calls. Reception can arrange Game Drives / Safari to Nairobi National Park. I went with friends and we were well looked after. Go first thing in the morning for the best experience. I'd return in a heartbeat.

The garden is huge and scenic, with a swimming pool, an outdoor fireplace, and the option of a nature walk. You can also arrange to visit Kitengela glass and walk across the famous bridge there. The food was 5/5 and the service impeccable; the ambience was 5/5 too. An amazing place to visit and an experience I'll never forget.

We stopped by Masai Lodge to see if it might suit a group booking early next year, and were really impressed. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the price seems reasonable for the quality and experience. Kezia welcomed us warmly and showed us around. She was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, which made the visit even nicer. Definitely worth visiting for a group stay or a relaxing getaway close to nature.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the food and the peaceful atmosphere at Maasai Lodge. It's a lovely place to unwind, surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the river, forest, and wildlife. Highly recommended if you want comfort and nature together in one stay.
