We had a wonderful graduation party here. The setting is beautiful and the hospitality was top-notch. I'd happily use the place again and again.

The staff at Margarita House were amazing, and we honestly hated having to leave. Its location worked perfectly for the Carnivore restaurant, kibera Slum tour, giraffe center and the elephant orphanage. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Our room was spacious, with loads of closet space, and the showers were excellent. The hotel was clean, in a good neighborhood, and the staff were very friendly. The food was good too. Noise was the downside: all the smooth surfaces seem to amplify voices, footsteps, and doors slamming. There are earplugs in the rooms, but they only muffle it a little.

The breakfasts are still exactly the same, and there are no fans in the rooms. After more than three years, the hotel hasn't changed much and too many things are broken, so it needs some updating. I've always stayed in the one room without a footboard so I can fit. The window latch in that room had been broken for ages; I mentioned it and it was fixed straight away. Why did that take so long?
