For a cheap price, you’re right in the centre with plenty of shops, bars, and clubs, so it works well if you want to enjoy yourself outside. Just be prepared for loud music from different places until 4 a.m. The hotel itself is very basic and sits on a super busy street. A room on the opposite side from the street might be okay.

Midview hotel on Latema Road in Nairobi is affordable, and it has a strict no-smoking rule. Bars and alcohol aren’t allowed inside. The staff, from the security guards to reception and housekeeping, are friendly. It’s worth a try if you want easy access to public transport around town. Just expect loud noise from the nearby pubs and the lousy stage on Latema road.

Our room had cockroaches, but it was still quite cheap, so... The employees were nice, and breakfast was fair. It’s a well-located place in a busy area, with a guard at night.

The facilities aren’t amazing, but it’s very affordable if you just need somewhere to rest your head. I was well looked after, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The rooms are really good for the low price, and the city view is great. The catering is awesome too, including the breakfast. I liked this place a lot. It doesn’t feel cheap, and I’d recommend it.
