The beautiful rooms and ambience couldn’t make up for the dining. Our all inclusive Christmas meal was the worst part. We had a reservation and were staying there, but our table wasn’t held and the buffet wasn’t refilled. We were seated at a table for eight even though there were just two of us, then moved when they needed a round table for a large family. The lunch buffet was left out for dinner, and most dishes were empty when we went to eat. We ended up having undercooked potatoes for Christmas dinner and going to bed. I’ve seen reviews about bad dining going back years, and I wish I’d read them before booking elsewhere. It felt like wasted money. I’ve never posted a bad review before, but they need to do better. I don’t know how to attach photos and videos here, but I will once I figure it out.

The social media reviews and what we experienced on site were worlds apart. The ambience is a 10/10, but the service was poor. We were told it would be a buffet, but it wasn’t, and we waited three hours for food. Service was so slow a tortoise could have beaten it. It’s a shame a place this lovely has such below par service.

We left without eating after waiting more than three hours, despite following up several times and getting no clear response from staff. We had booked for Valentine’s Day expecting the advertised four course meal, flowers, and candlelit table, but there were no flowers or candles, and no waiter was assigned to us even though our reservation was confirmed. Other customers were also complaining, so it seemed like a wider problem with planning and service. It was deeply disappointing to have a special occasion spoiled this way. I can’t recommend it, and hope management takes responsibility and improves how things are organized and how customers are treated.

It’s a generally good choice on the famous Tigoni circuit of hidden gems, with a nice spot and great aesthetics. Service could be faster, though. The a la carte breakfast arrived cold, which was a big disappointment for this kind of place.
