The buffet was well laid out and kept replenished, with a good range of food. The restaurant had a pleasant feel, and the live band brought some warmth and energy without taking over. The grill service was noticeably slower than the rest, but the meat was worth waiting for.👌🏾

The atmosphere was a 10/10, but the food was 5/10. Friday’s all-you-can-eat buffet felt basic and limited: the only meats were ribs, chicken leg and skewers, and there wasn’t much choice for dessert either. For the same price, other hotels offer better value.

The basement parking was awkward, with no lift, so we had to walk up to the entrance. In the rain, that really wasn’t ideal. Valet parking might help. Friday is barbecue day, and now I see why the place was packed. The choma was tender, juicy and full of flavour, and there were plenty of salads, all prepared really well. Book by Monday if you can, since spaces fill quickly. We turned up without a reservation and it was full, but a kind staff member called Sophie, if I remember right, asked us to wait 15 minutes and got us a table just as she promised.
