I felt disappointed during my week-long stay in January 2026. The house itself was good quality, but the apartment's hospitality was very poor. They treated me like a begger instead of a customer. For example, when they gave me a room with a bad smell, I wanted to change it right away. They said I had to pay to move to a new room with good quality. I've never seen that kind of rigidity anywhere.

I booked 2 nights on Dec 14, but when I called to confirm, things got confusing. I was due to check out of another hotel at 11, and Angela, I beleave that's her name, kept asking me what house I meant. I didn't understand the question. I sent her a photo of the room to the phone number listed, then later found out she needed it on WhatsApp. That confusion costed me 9k, so I had to go to my usual sport in Kenya, in kilimani. I've tried to follow up, but haven't had a response, so I guess I lost out. Front office staff dealing with the public should help customers instead of leaving them stranded, but some don't sound like they love their jobs at all.

The rooms were tastefully arranged, and there's secured parking. I had a comfy one night stay here.

The studio was clean and the staff were helpful. It was also very close to the city, so I could get all my stuff done. I had a great stay at South Suites from start to finish.
