The quiet, peaceful atmosphere was relaxing, and I appreciated how thoroughly the rooms were cleaned every day. The showers were a bit troublesome, though, and service at the hotel was slow. The food took a long time, cost quite a lot, and wasn't especially tasty.

The reception was fine, and the waiters and receptionist were helpful and easy to talk to. But our order took over two hours and still came out wrong. If you're planning to eat there, try to find their contact details and order ahead. Don't assume the menu reflects what's available, as we were told nearly everything we asked for was unavailable.

The food was the best part, and the staff were extra friendly. I wish they'd swap the blankets for duvets. The place has plenty of potential, but management seems comfortable with how things are.

The place is deteriorating quickly. It could be good if management came to its senses and refurbished it.
