Being right by the road makes it accessible, and it’s affordable. There’s a club attached to the rooms, which suits people who like to party, but the noise can be a lot if you want peace and quiet. The rooms are spacious, but a bit too cold and not very clean. I didn’t like the colored bedding and towels. Still, it could work for a short, budget stay.

I’ve stayed here on three separate visits to Nakuru, and it’s a decent place to sleep for the night. You can book bed only or bed and breakfast, and there’s gated, secure parking for cars. The rooms do feel a bit stuffy, though, and the showers haven’t worked very well on any of my three stays.

I’ve revised my rating to three stars because management, especially proprietor Peter Karanja, responded well and assured me the problems would stop. I did lose items, though. My original complaint was that you could lose everything here, including your peace, face double billing, lose belongings, have a spoiled holiday, and get caught up in internal disputes. No investor is rich enough to mismanage things.

The dining room was comfortable and easy to access for able-bodied people. Service was timely, and the mbuzi choma was the juiciest and softest.

It’s along Nakuru- Nyahururu Road, and getting transport to or from the CBD is easy. A good spot for a meal or a bottle of beer, with excellent lighting and a view of the road.
