I liked staying here. It was an affordable place in Kisumu.

We had a really good one-night stay, and the food was very good. The rooms are basic, but this worked well for my friend and me while traveling Kenya on a budget. Locals stop in for drinks, which gave us a chance to mingle. We left early the next morning for a game drive arranged by the hotel, saw lots of animals, and loved having Nakuru as our first Kenyan national park experience.

The people working there, from the kitchen and bar to reception, were attentive and gave us personal care that made us feel valued. My husband and I stayed two days, and the affordable restaurant and bar prices were a plus. We ate breakfast and dinner there. The food tasted great, with no unnecessary spices, and was the closest thing to home-cooked food I'd had in Kenya. Our Lake Nakuru national park safari went really well. Our knowledgeable driver knew where to look for animals and explained things along the way. He also took us to Menengai crater, helped us sort things out at the entrance, and found us a guide. They offer accommodation, meals, and safari tours, among other things. 100%%

There are several nice shared spaces, and the whole guesthouse feels homely. The rooms are clean and cozy, though only some have wifi. The host is very attentive and makes sure people are having a good time. It draws a nice mix of backpackers and locals, and everyone is warm and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
