I’ve stayed at Loika for over five years while travelling, but this visit left me regretting it. The charges have gone up, yet the service was extremely poor. There was a dirty pillow in my room from the moment I arrived. They also managed the power badly, switching off the main supply to the charging sockets and the bathroom water heater. I had to keep pestering them for electricity to charge my phone and for hot shower water. I told myself, never again.

The rooms are well looked after, and the place is right in the middle of Nakuru Town. Room 8 has a great view of NaxVegas, and costs Ksh. 2000/-per night.
