John looked after us when a high school friend and I stopped in for a quick drink. His customer service was spot on, and he suggested our meal. The food and drinks were right on point. I’d recommend him.

The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the views are lovely. There’s a good range of really tasty food, and the aesthetics are on point. The service is great too. You should come try their high-tech parking.

The receptionists were welcoming, and our orders came out quickly. The washrooms were clean, though they could use air fresheners now and then. The rooftop pool was clean and came with fresh towels, but there was no lifeguard on duty.

The pepper steak tasted a little sour, or perhaps it came from an animal that was quite old when slaughtered. My masala fries were cold, and the food quality overall could have been better. As a chef, I’d urge the restaurant to take food hygiene seriously: the ice machine needs cleaning and disinfecting at least monthly, and food should be heated through properly. I’ve eaten in some very rough places in Kenya, including roadside barracks, without problems with hygiene or food quality. I’m still trying to work out what caused my stomach flu. Sadly, this was my last visit.

Good food, including the pizza, and the prices are friendly. It’s right in town but has a cool, uptown feel that somehow seems removed from town. Great ambiance.
