We loved the green outdoor area for a barbecue and the distinctive wood furniture. It's a beautifully furnished country home, and the host was awesome. Five stars.

If your roundi mwenda takes you to Nanyuki, do stop by AJ's Ranch. I was backpacking solo around Central Kenya and stayed a few days, and I was really impressed. It's in a quiet neighborhood, just a few meters from the Equator marker and a short drive into town. The staff and management went out of their way to make me comfortable, and the rooms were clean and homely. The restaurant's pork was the best I've ever had. Enjoy the food, drinks, country style atmosphere, and a comfy bed if you need one. I can't wait to come back.
