Zebu Lodge And Luxury Hotel

I like this quiet place, with good food, lovely scenery, and good service. It welcomes clients from all over the world and is internationally acknowledged. The place has plenty to offer, including space for conferences, weddings, bachelor parties, and other fun events. It's still a work in progress, and the professionalism isn't quite there yet, but it's getting there. I'm sure the finished place will be a wonder.

The lawns are beautifully kept, so they'd be great for outdoor activities or photography. It's easy to reach, about 200M from the main road and just outside town. My double room had plenty of space, with a queen sized bed, three seats, a table and a desk. The bathroom was clean enough overall, though there was mould in the tile grout, and the bathroom cabinets and room wall cabinets had water damage. Breakfast was average, with a choice of staples, while the à la carte main meals were fairly good. There's also a conference facility. The swimming pool is still being built. Good value for money.

The conference facilities were good, with good tea and snacks, though they didn't offer sweets, which was different from what I'm used to. I stayed three nights for a work event. The rooms seemed good at first glance: spacious, with a comfortable bed, TV, hot shower, and a full length mirror, which was a plus. But the toilet wasn't fixed to the floor and kept moving, and the shower water didn't flow properly. I saw insects around the furniture. A cupboard drawer had no handle, the room phone was plugged in but didn't work, the extension cable was broken although it still worked, and part of the wall had moisture damage. Breakfast and lunch were average, though I noticed that was because they were buffets. The à la carte supper was done well for me, but they got my order wrong twice. It was a pleasant hotel, but missed the mark in a few areas for what is supposed to be a luxury hotel.

The place has a lot of potential, though it still feels unfinished. The rooms are spacious, and the front desk service was great. My room could use a kettle for tea or coffee while relaxing in the lounge seats, plus some bathroom items. Breakfast was good, but could use more variety.
