The pool fee is charged as a flat entry price even if someone doesn’t swim, including parents who are only there to supervise children. Color-coded wristbands could easily separate swimmers from non-swimmers and avoid arguments at check-in. Service during my visit was very slow, and the staff seemed disengaged. The food and drink waitress rarely came over to take orders or offer anything, so the dining experience felt neglected. Management needs to take this seriously. Staff training and changes to how things are run are needed to bring service up to an acceptable level. No stars for this one.

I was made to leave the pool and wasn’t given a refund, so after years of being a loyal customer, I won’t be coming back. The lifeguards were rude and unwelcoming. One suddenly told me my bikini broke the rules, though there was no rule posted and I was wearing proper swimwear. I’ve visited several times in the same bikini without a problem. When I said so, he accused me of lying and said he’d never seen me. He may be new, since I know the regular lifeguards from my frequent visits. Other people in similar clothes, and even some without proper swimwear, weren’t stopped.

The pool is large and has good facilities, and the food is good too. It’s good value for money. I’ll definitely come back.

Those open fields are a nice place to relax or take a quiet walk. BTL feels peaceful, clean and calm, and the food is really nice too. A lovely spot to spend a quiet afternoon and unwind.
