Hotel Vesloni

I liked the food and the relaxing atmosphere. There aren’t many activities, though. Seems suited to family dinners, dates, casual business meetings, or working remotely.

We held a small function here and accidentally left our leftover cake on the table. In less than five minutes it was gone, and security staff had taken it and were already eating it. There was no manager around to sort things out, and the staff couldn’t handle how disrespectful it was. Imagine if we’d left a phone or something valuable. Zero security, zero service. Book at your own risk.

We held a baby shower and gave them a goat to slaughter and cook for us. They served only a quarter of it and stole the rest. The worst experience, I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place.

The meals were great, and the staff did their best to accommodate us during the day, but I don’t think I’ll book this hotel for another company meeting. We’d reserved it for our annual meeting from 9 to 5, with breakfast at 9, yet at 9 they were still mopping and setting up. Breakfast didn’t arrive until 10, so we had to change our agenda. We’d requested a projector, but staff didn’t know about it. When one finally came, its extension cord had exposed wires that had to be pushed into the outlet by hand, risking an electric shock. The booking details hadn’t been passed along to the staff on shift. The owner was at reception but never came over, not even to greet us. She just told the staff to deal with it and apologize. I asked them to have her call me about what happened, but they seemed afraid to do so, and probably wouldn’t.
