Those chairs were so high that anyone under six feet would struggle, and my feet started swelling. We took turns getting up to walk around and get the blood flowing, hardly the relaxing family dinner we wanted. Service was slow and they seemed short-staffed. Washington was a great waiter, but he was rushed off his feet while other diners got annoyed waiting for their bills and took it out on him. We had dinner with the family at Mark hotel, and by the next day most of us felt awful, like, "what even was that?" 🤢 It seemed like a food poisoning situation. Honestly, I wouldn't eat there again.

The place was quiet and relaxing, a nice spot to unwind. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the welcoming staff were professional and ready to help. I had a wonderful stay at The Mark Vintage Hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

The Mark Hotel is a convenient stop at the interchange of Ruiru, kiambu ruai, and thikaroad superhighway, with fresh food and a neat stay at affordable prices. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and services are at a high standard. People with disabilities are well cared for, and the parking is safe even for wheelchairs. Karibu sana.

This has happened three times, so it's an observation: the nyama choma is good, but service is really poor. We waited more than an hour for the food, and a waiter took over 20 minutes just to bring us a menu. Then our waiter was nowhere to be found.

There's good lighting and some nice music, plus a large, secure car park with a car wash. It's a classic hotel with lots of room and a variety of meals.
