Kobe Mara

Wildlife wandered around the grounds, including giraffes, zebras, and sometimes a hyena. We could even watch animals from our bed or balcony. Driving from Nairobi in a 4x4 was an adventure in itself, with wildlife sightings before our first official game drive with Dan the next day. The grounds were breathtaking, and the staff and food were outstanding. Breakfast was a full Irish, plus pancakes, fresh fruit, mango juice, and great coffee. Kobe Mara exceeded our expectations and was genuinely one of the best places I’ve stayed. 10/10. Huge thanks to Sammy and the team. We’ll be back! ❤️

Eating with views of the Mara while giraffes and zebras passed by was unreal, and every meal was different and really good. The staff looked after us throughout our three days at Kobe Mara. Dan was an awesome guide, easygoing and full of knowledge, and he made the safari special for my wife and me. We had a great time from start to finish. Definitely recommend it if you’re planning a safari, and we’d go back 100%.

Nixon took us on the game trips and was a great guide. Being from the Masai, he knew the area very well. The lodge arranged our rides from Nairobi and back, and the drivers were friendly and on time. The accommodation was incredible, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. All the food was included and very tasty, with dietary requests accommodated, so we could just enjoy ourselves. I’d recommend this for an intimate, tailored trip to the Masai.

Animals were visiting the waterhole and the surrounding area, and the setting was gorgeous. Nickson made our game drives incredible. We stayed in a lovely, comfortable tent, enjoyed great food, and felt warmly welcomed by Sammy, Jonathan, and the whole team.
