Being a few days into camping may have made us appreciate it more, but the camp felt roomy right away. Our tent had power, a mini fridge and an attached bathroom, with warm water. They also gave us the extra bed we asked for at no extra charge. It's close to East Tsavo NP, with free parking, a clean pool and food available on site. The shower had no curtain, though, so the floor often ended up wet and slippery, which could be risky for kids. The food was just okay, and ordering could take ages at lunch or if you skipped the dinner buffet.

I'd avoid this place. The service was really rude, and they charged us 500KSH for a bottle of water. It felt like they were just trying to scam us.

The toilet was filthy when I arrived, which was completely unacceptable. The shower was bad too: barely any water pressure, no warm or hot water, and the faulty drain left me standing in a puddle. There was no working air conditioning, so the room felt uncomfortable in the heat, as well as dull and depressing. These problems made what should have been a relaxing holiday really disappointing. I hope the establishment takes this feedback seriously and fixes them for future guests.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating with the kids and dogs. Even with the location, it was surprisingly quiet, and the rustling palm fronds made the place feel like an oasis. The pool had just been treated when we arrived in the middle of a hot, sweaty day. Later the shower was cold, despite our early booking and confirmation that day. We still really enjoyed our stay, and it was good value.
