Manyatta Camp

We saw loads of wildlife, and Tsaavo was amazing. The service was so attentive, the beds were great, and every comfortable room had its own pool overlooking the camp. Honestly, this is one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Kenya. Really recommend it.

The wildlife views from the verandah and pool were incredible. Elephants, zebra, and waterbuck wandered by, and the location was easily the best part of my stay. The room was clean and very nice, though my mattress could use an upgrade to match the rest of the place. At least the mosquito net was intact and set up during turn-down, which hasn't always been the case elsewhere. I understand why they spray for mosquitoes, but doing that in such a precious natural environment concerned me. I'd prefer the other recommended measures over spraying and its pollution. I also appreciated the complimentary water bottles instead of plastic. At the restaurant, the view was just as amazing and the staff were lovely. The buffet was good, and I liked getting ugali and greens one evening for a taste of local food. I would've liked fresh juice without sugar at lunch and dinner. The team arranged game drives at short notice, which I really appreciated. This is one of the best places I've stayed. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, and I can't recommend Manyatta camp highly enough. Thank you to all the amazing staff!

We went on their full-day game drive, and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Tsavo had far more animals than we expected, and our guide, Jackan, went out of his way to find the animals we hoped to see. Both the drive and camp were outstanding and excellent value for the money. We were a family of four with a young daughter and older son, and the tent fit us perfectly. The food was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian and local choices. Manyatta Camp is in a fantastic spot next to the Tsavo gate, with wild animals roaming in front of the tent. The staff were kind and attentive, warmly handled our requests, and even helped sort out some issues with our train ride. We highly recommend it.

We only wish we'd had more time here. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was good. From our room and the dining area we spotted elephants, water bucks, bee eater birds, and bush babies coming right up. The tented camps are spacious, and there's a plunge pool in your room. Manyatta Camp is a great place.
