Kausar. Hotel

We had a good stay over our 4 days and 3 nights, and the rate seemed fair for the hotel. Breakfast had some good options, as long as you’re not expecting a full breakfast spread. Our room was decent and had its own bathroom, though there was no bidet.

The laundry situation was frustrating. It was supposed to be ready by 2:00 or 3:00 PM, but at 4:30 PM it was still wet and unfinished. We had to check out with nowhere else booked, so we took it with us. When I asked about a refund, the staff seemed not to understand what I meant. We also had a hard time getting an iron. There’s only one, and after several requests the receptionist brought it from another guest’s room. That guest didn’t want to give it up, so I said I’d only need it for about 10 minutes. I ended up using it for 15-20 minutes before the receptionist came to ask for it back, since the other guest had been using it since the previous night. We had asked earlier that morning, but were told it couldn’t be retrieved until later. We’d booked a family room, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and we could feel the springs. We asked to change rooms the next day and were told a new one would be ready while we were out. Nobody mentioned that a deposit was needed to hold it. When we got back, our bags were outside and the room had already gone to someone else. The service was disappointing and unprofessional. I hope they improve it.

The garden cabin we were given was much smaller and less comfortable than we expected. When I called, I was told regular rooms were available, but once we arrived, they said the cabin was the only option. It made for a very unpleasant stay.

The receptionist was especially polite and treated guests with the care I expected, maybe even more. The rest of the staff were excellent too, and breakfast was amazing. It’s a good hotel, and I’d definitely recommend it to my people.
