It’s a great place, and the lady who owns it is lovely. She doesn’t speak much English, though, so you’ll want to learn some Russian. It’s a beautiful language, just not an easy one! The location isn’t perfect, but there’s a bus nearby for the centre, and you can walk there too, maybe in 30 minutes.

This is a cozy home in a quiet residential area, with several nearby bus stops that can take you anywhere in the city. “Mama” was the highlight; after only a few hours, she hugged us like she’d known us for years, and we shared several laughs. The younger woman was kind and gentle too. Staying in such a pleasant local home with these two kind local women helped make our time in Bishkek great. So glad we stayed here.

The hostel is peaceful and quiet, and I had a very comfortable two days. The hostess was so welcoming and kind, and I was truly grateful for her warm care. Her daughter speaks English very well and does her best to make communication comfortable. She also shared lots of tour information. I’ll be leaving now, and I hope the hostess stays healthy.

The room was small and simple, with just a bed, desk, and closet, but I slept so well because the mattress didn’t sag. The shower and toilet were spotless. And the hostess was so lovely, the kind of person who makes you want to come back.
