The location was perfect for getting around Bishkek, right in the city center. Staff were polite, proactive, and ready to help, and having a money exchange on the ground floor was convenient. Breakfast had good variety and fresh options each morning. My room was cleaned daily and was always tidy and comfortable when I returned. Great value for money. I’d happily stay at the Orient Hotel again and recommend it to visitors.

Right on the main road, with a bar open until midnight and a great breakfast selection. For two mornings in a row, the buffet was enormous, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I wondered if the first day was a fluke, but it was just as extensive the next day.

The rooms turned into a free sauna because the air conditioning didn’t work. That’s what guests get at this four-star hotel in the middle of the capital, in the so-called ‘Pearl of Central Asia.’ If that counts as luxury here, I’d hate to see the budget options.

The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff were helpful. Shops, the main square, museums, and restaurants are all close enough to walk to. For farther trips, the hotel can arrange transfers, and there’s a money exchange right in the doorway. The food was wonderful, and the restaurant has lovely city views.
