I stayed at Orion Hotel Bishkek in December 2025 and was struck by how it paired luxury with warm hospitality. Check-in was smooth and professional, and my spacious, spotless room had thoughtful details, high-end finishes, and a peaceful feel that made it hard to leave. Breakfast stood out every morning, with a wide, high-quality spread for local and international tastes. The spa was excellent too: the clean, calm sauna was a great way to unwind after a day in the city. Staff were attentive without hovering and made me feel at home. I’m already looking forward to returning to Bishkek to stay here again. One of the finest hotels I’ve visited, and highly recommended for anyone looking for the best in Kyrgyzstan.

The room was good, and the staff were kind. But charging over $70 for early check-in when the room is already ready struck me as a strange rule. I’ve traveled for years and never encountered that before. It seems excessive, like they’re trying to squeeze more money from guests who are already paying good money.

There’s old-school character to the building, and the antique marble and wood finishes are beautiful. It’s a dated place, but the upkeep is good. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, even with a toothbrush provided.

It has that old Soviet-era accommodation feel, but the service is much more personal. Very comfortable.

The rooms were clean, and the location and staff were good. Still, I was surprised a five-star hotel had no concierge or bellboy. Breakfast felt very mediocre for that rating, with no live station. I even wondered if I had booked the right place. When I asked the breakfast staff for cold water, it never arrived, even after 30 minutes, and the woman manager seemed unconcerned.
